MFA Thesis Exhibition

Lindenwood University, 2012

The theme of the exhibition was line, movement, and simplicity and each piece in the exhibition incorporated them in one way or another. As Paul Klee memorably said, “A line is a dot that went for a walk.” In this simple rhythmic declaration, Klee set forth an idea that I find valuable for myself and my approach to design as it suggests that even the most complex shapes and design elements are constructed by combining simple objects.
